We are looking for an Archival Services Officer to join the Digitisation and Collection Services team in this exciting and rewarding role.

This role will be a part of a dynamic team at QSA and will engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders to support QSA in achieving its strategic priority of securing important digital records created by government for current and future generations to use.

The Archival Services Officer will coordinate the workflow, digitisation and timely delivery of records for public customers and government agencies, both onsite and online.

In this role you will:

- digitise archival records using a variety of scanning equipment
- perform post-production and quality assurance activities such as editing, splitting, retouching, file conversions and scripting, using various digitisation software
- undertake high quality assurance checks of digitisation requests to ensure digital copies meets QSA standards, customer expectations, and international digitisation standards
- undertake inspection of records and collate data to enable accurate and timely quotation services
- act as escalation point for the Archival Support Officers, Archivists and Managers of raised issues and provide timely resolution
- create and review relevant procedures and work instructions associated with the retrieval and digitisation of records
- extract data from digitisation sources and accurately record in excel spreadsheet; analyse data to prepare digitisation statistics for monthly reports
- assist maintenance servicing of equipment including troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
