Our large NSW State Government client covers comprehensive corporate governance frameworks and policy, regulating health facilities and the supply and administration of therapeutic goods.


About the Role

They are currently seeking an experienced Administrative Support Officer to join their growing team in St Leonards with some flexibility to work remotely from home.

This is an estimated 6month temp assignment with a potential to extend

Reporting to the Director, you will be required to provide a wide range of administrative support services to 3 different teams across the Workforce Policy and Talent Development Division to achieve organisational objectives

In this rewarding role, you will undertake the following duties;

  • Provide a high volume, quality and efficient administrative support services to 3 teams including Workforce Policy and Talent Development, Medical Advisor and Allied Health Portfolio
  • Deliver high quality professional customer service
  • Answer enquiries, in a timely and accurate manner
  • Complete diary management
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings
  • Preparation of documentation including correspondence, minutes, briefs, agenda's, reports and presentation material
  • Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
  • Complete financial administrative tasks including purchase orders, invoices, purchasing
  • Records and database management, ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
  • Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements

About You
To secure this amazing opportunity, you must have the following;

  • Demonstrated Administration or Business Support experience
  • Health or Public Sector experience highly advantageous
  • Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proactive and takes initiative
  • High attention to detail
  • Superior organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
  • Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
