About the Role

They are currently seeking a highly motivated Administration Officer to join their team in Parramatta with the flexibility to work remotely from home.

This is an estimated 3-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.


Reporting to the Manager, you will be required to provide a wide range of administration and business support to deliver efficient services to achieve organisational objectives.

In this role, you will be responsible for however not limited to the following

  • Deliver high level professional customer service
  • Answer enquiries, providing timely and accurate responses
  • Complete diary and travel management
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings including arranging catering, equipment and overall presentation
  • Preparation of highlevel documentation including agenda's, briefs, correspondence, meeting minutes, reports and presentation material
  • Ordering stationary and maintaining office equipment
  • Distribution of incoming and outgoing mail
  • Complete financial administration duties including purchase orders, invoices and receipting
  • Records and database management, ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
  • Updating and maintaining asset registers
  • Assist with HR activities including on/offboarding
  • Report on divisional and ministerial deliverables to ensure timely response to advice requests, correspondence and parliamentary documents
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements

About You
To be successful in securing this project assignment you will have the following

  • Demonstrated Administration or Business Support experience
  • Exposure to Ministerial correspondence highly advantageous
  • Previous experience working within a high pressure and complex environment
  • Superior organisational skills and ability to multitask and prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong computer literacy skills and proficiency with MS Office suite, CM9 & SAP
  • Reliable remote internet access to work remotely from home
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
  • Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
  • Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
