- A Domain Architect is typically assigned to a specific Sub-Domain under BSS in a single project or project release, assisting in the translation of requirements into a solution vision, system specifications, and implementation tasks in accordance with the overall IT strategy and architecture.
- This role ensures all applications are compliant with open digital architecture, TMF and Open APIs for a given business problem using enterprise standards.
- Hands-on experience working in digital transformation.
- Good knowledge of working with Jira, Confluence, and other Design tools like , Visio etc.
- Thorough understanding of open digital architecture, TMF Frameworks, Open APIs etc.
- Experience of UML design principles.
- Good knowledge of software principles and design experience with relevant platform.
- Proven experience of working with technical teams. At all levels, from design through to development and implementation.
- Able to coordinate design decisions for systems to be delivered by multiple suppliers, both internal and external.
- Ability to lead design discussions with third party vendors.
- Understanding of development methodology and software development.
- IT related degree or similar, preferred.
- Other IT industry qualifications and evidence of vocational training/experience.
- Experience of designing solutions in a multi-tiered IT infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences.
- The ability to make decisions on major technical and delivery issues.
- Excellent communications skills both verbal and written.
- Demonstrates a high level of interpersonal skills and is comfortable at all levels of contact and in a wide variety of situations.
- A broad understanding across the whole of the software life cycle with a record of having applied the knowledge successfully in a variety of situations.

- Gather, identify, and document business requirements for new systems and processes.
- Create functional specifications based on these requirements.
- Assess existing processes (as-is) and perform gap analysis.
- Design improved processes (to-be) and recommend changes to implement.
- Manage technology vendors and client stakeholders.
- Handle large projects and programs in a multi-vendor scenario, leveraging Agile principles and applying DevOps capabilities.
- Lead pursuits with telecom prospects, articulating unique value proposition through practical use cases.
- Design and implement cutting-edge, client-specific solutions.
- Develop business cases and IT strategies, considering tools and software for digital solutions.
- Work closely with client IT teams and business personnel to uncover opportunities and draw actionable insights.
- Provide technology and consulting leadership within and outside the firm.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in digital technologies, including Robotic Process Automation, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data, Data Analytics, and IoT.
