Summary:


This role sits in the Managed Services Business Unit of Amdocs and is pivotal to providing technical presales support to the broader Amdocs Sales team.

The Managed Services Pre-sales role involves engagement with customers and Amdocs Sales teams (in APAC region) to understand business challenges/requirements/vision and accordingly develop cloud based Managed Services Solutions.


What will your job look like?:


  • You will lead and support Amdocs sales in complete cycle i.e. business development, opportunity qualification, solutioning, value proposition development, effort and cost estimation, pricing modeling, customer negotiations, contracting etc.
  • You will take complete ownership of responding to customer RFIs/RFPs including SoW development.
  • You will regularly present to CXO level about Amdocs Managed Services value proposition, scope, solution and credentials
  • You will gain insight into customer's environment, challenges, and opportunities in order to develop and propose comprehensive Managed Services solutions. You will ensure the proposed solution reflects Amdocs value proposition and competitive advantage
  • You will design a costeffective solution that maximizes value to the customer and considers constraints such as budget, timelines, local market, and meeting customer requirements
  • You will share and communicate endtoend solutions (orally and in writing) to executives, business sponsors, and technical
  • You will create value proposition for customers both in quantitative and qualitative way.
  • You will proactively develop new business opportunities by spotting and uncovering customer needs, challenges and gaps
  • You will maintain a deep knowledge of industry and technology trends, standards, and competition in order to identify business opportunities based on domain market dynamics, and potential operations challenges

All you need is
:


  • 3+ years of experience as a services solution architect with a focus on planning, architecting and providing E2E services solution
  • 3+ years of experience in presales or sales support role
  • 3+ years of experience in telecom industry
  • Expertise and deep domain knowledge in following areas:
  • BSS/OSS Operations Domain
  • Public Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google), Private Cloud (VMware etc.), IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services
  • Cloudnative technologies & architectures
  • DevOps, microservices, containers
  • Opensource tools and practices
  • Certificates: Basic/Business AWS/Azure certifications
  • Costing expertise and financial acumen
  • Experience in communication/presentation to customer executives especially at CxO level
