Your role as a Payments Security Partner is to collaborates with the business, technology and regulators to ensure that security is prioritised and understood.

You will also ensure the PRESS Tech Area has proper governance in relation to security and lifecycle maintenance compliance.


As the Security Partner for PRESS, you will work closely with the wider Payments Technology Domain to plan for and deliver customer outcomes whilst ensuring the delivery and security governance is in accordance with the ANZ Delivery Framework.

This role will help drive the performance and coordinate interdependences between Squads and Tribes as well as the wider ANZ teams such as the ADF and Security.

You will ensure delivery and security risks are managed at the portfolio level and that the integrated roadmap and forward plan is optimized, and external dependencies are clear.


The role is also responsible for ensuring we deliver value to customers in safe and secure manner with change risk and risk culture at the heart of all decision making.

As a key leader you will be responsible for driving culture, performance, and strategic alignment.

What will your day look like

  • Leads the delivery and security governance function across the Payments Technology domain to ensure consistent and highquality delivery and security management in accordance with ANZ's established delivery and security frameworks.
  • Provide oversight, insights, and opinions on the maturity of Payment Technology's Risk in Change approach and capability and where required areas of uplift.
  • Driving continuous improvement in delivery governance and security controls adherence across the Payments Technology domain, and providing SME education and awareness including delivery of learning (including thought leadership and oversight)
What will you bring?


This role is accountable for:


  • Compliance to security governance across the Payments Technology domain.
  • Ensuring the work is operationally and strategically aligned to the Domain's mission
  • Regular collaborative engagement with Payments Tech leaders to align and manage interdependencies
  • Work closely with Solution and Infrastructure Architects on design principles and alignment of services
  • Ensure Development aligns to security principals
  • Improving delivery governance and security controls across the Payments Domain
  • Develop strategies to ensure compliance with delivery controls
  • Monitor and report on operational risk
Must have' knowledge, skills and experiences

  • Proven ability in operational risk and compliance frameworks, methodologies, policies and practices
  • Experience in managing risk in change especially a detailed understanding of delivery controls and assurance Business/commercial acumen
  • Delivery and risk management
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Willingness to look at things differently, challenge the status quo and innovate
  • Experience and learnings of transformations, you know the elements of project/program management and experienced in agile ways of working Ability to ask for and give feedback
  • Ability to galvanise a diverse group of people around a common mission
  • Ability to adapt and grasp new skills and content
  • Proven ability to innovate and adapt to latest development in area of expertise
  • Developed and executed breakthrough domain strategies that deliver the business strategy
  • Successfully built a network of strong relationships and influencing key stakeholders
  • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CISSP are highly advantageous
