The Company
The Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA) is a specialist provider of government grants, loans, advisory support and farm debt services to rural and regional Queensland. They have been helping primary producers make a start in agriculture, improve sustainability and profitability, recover from natural disaster and other challenges for more than 25 years.
As the Queensland Government's experts in rural finance, they manage a host of programs to support the agricultural sector, but increasingly are also doing more in many other sectors. QRIDA's vision is to foster growth, sustainability and economic development in rural and regional communities by providing proactive, responsible and reliable financial services and assistance. There are five values and behaviours that underpin their culture:
The Program
As a graduate on QRIDA's Graduate Connect Program, you will work on projects that will help develop your skills and capabilities, including rotations to other areas of the department. The 2-year program will support your transition from study to full-time employment. You will be supported by a mentor and a supervisor to ensure your time in the program is a success and participate as a member of a team that is making a difference for the people of rural and regional Queensland.
