HOBAN Recruitment is currently partnering with a respected
VIC Local Council in the search for a highly capable individual to join as a
Waste Driver - Solo Operator - Side Loader located in
Ivanhoe, VIC.

What's in it for you:

2month assignment, opportunity for contract to be extended

- $33.65 per hour + super

Monday
Friday, 7:00am 4:00pm
Based in Ivanhoe, VIC
Start 14th August

About the role:

To provide the safe and effective operation of a garbage collection vehicle engaged in street cleaning work.
To provide team leadership for shopping centre cleansing unit.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with drainage maintenance
Perform the shopping centre program collection.
To act as driver of a garbage compactor vehicle (As required).
To assist with the clearance operation involving.
Collection of dumped rubbish
To carry out regular routine maintenance to truck.
Cleaning public toilets & BBQ.
To assist with any task undertaken by the Cleansing Unit and as directed by the Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience:

MR Drivers License highly desirable
Experience in operating mechanical plant & equipment.
Knowledge of traffic control requirements as to placement of warning signs, barriers and lights.
