About the Role:


The Analytics Delivery and Process Manager will lead a small team to support the delivery of a range of analytics and business process improvement projects and services.

This role partners with stakeholders across the organisation to:

  • Lead or supervise the design, development, delivery and maintenance of a wide range of analytics services and assets, including policies and procedures reports, tools, frameworks and systems.
  • Drive the development and uptake of a bestpractice analytics service delivery methodology and business process architecture.
  • Build the capacity of the enterprise to effectively and efficiently deliver highquality, strategically aligned analytics assets and services that meet business user requirements and support institute strategic objectives.

Duties:


  • Support the Director, Product, Analytics and Data Science and other team members to achieve the goals set out for the 'Measure What Matters' and 'Establish the Product Strategy' strategic initiatives.
  • Manage a highperforming team of Data and Business Analysts, Process Engineers and data engineers to ensure timely and efficient project and service delivery.
  • Monitor, manage and coach team member performance in line with Melbourne Polytechnic's expectations and policies and procedures.
  • Manage the endtoend design, development, delivery and maintenance of assigned projects and services, with accountability for the quality, effectiveness, cost and timeliness of objectives.
  • Plan, schedule and manage resources as required for successful project and service delivery.
  • Proactively identify project risks and issues and implement mitigation plans including consultation and negotiation with key stakeholders.
  • Manage the ongoing development and implementation of data warehousing platforms.
  • Administrate the Hub of Enterprise Analytics and Data Science (HEADS) platform, including oversight over structure, content and visual design.
  • Establish and maintain data governance practices, covering data lineage, business glossaries, data dictionaries, user guides and data usage policies.

Skills and Experience Required:


  • Degree or Postgraduate Degree in a field including Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar.
  • 3 years demonstrated management experience, leading and coaching teams to deliver analytics and process improvement projects and services.
  • Proven experience in collaborating with technical teams including data engineers, analysts, data scientists and ICT professionals producing actionable insights.
  • Deep expertise in eliciting user requirements and producing solution design documentation for new and existing processes and systems.
  • Highlevel openended problemsolving skills and ability to work autonomously in a complex environment with competing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including demonstrated ability to communicate complex analytical and process concepts with confidence and in an accessible way.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise analytics disciplines and concepts including databases and data warehousing, descriptive and predictive analytics, and data visualisation and reporting.
  • Proficiency in analysing large data sets, extracting relevant information and producing actionable insights.
  • Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders across functional teams to enable the delivery of operational products and services.
  • A current Police Check.
