We're seeking an experienced and confident Customer Service Representative, to join our team at Austral Masonry, in Yatala, QLD.

About the roleDuties include but are not limited to*****- Provide customers with friendly professional advice on the full range of Austral Masonry products including Concrete Sleeper Retaining Walls, Block Retaining Walls, Masonry Blocks, Pavers and Urbanstone.

  • Accurately process customer purchase orders, quotations and invoicing daily.
  • Print, collate, issue and receive delivery dockets.
  • Liaise with yard staff regarding trucks entering yard for delivery, stock checks, samples, unloading areas and amendments to delivery dockets and orders.
  • Process cash sales, including money handling and preparation of bank deposits, credit card purchases and preparation of daily banking in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Monitor product samples and replenish stocks accordingly.
  • Adhere to pricing Matrix and use correct pricing authority codes including confirming all pricing with customers/reps before processing an order.
  • Ensure that all credits are minimised and processed within 7 days.
  • Ensure all work areas, displays and front office is maintained, in a tidy, clean, and presentable manner to the public always.

Success Requirements
***- Demonstrated experience in a similar role/environment providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.

  • Excellent verbal, nonverbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience using JDE or other customer order systems.
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel.
