The Role
***
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Gardener/Maintenance Person to work at our Austral Bricks plant in Wollert VIC. Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the parks and gardens within the Wollert Site, as well as overseeing the overall upkeep of office amenities and buildings.

Duties include:
  • Maintain parks & gardens, including mowing, planting, weeding, watering, and pruning, to ensure the parks and gardens within the Wollert Site are vibrant and well
  • maintained.
  • General maintenance of office amenities and buildings, including basic repairs, painting and housekeeping.
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities, identifying and addressing any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe manner, compliant with WHS policies and procedures.
  • Assist with maintaining Sales Centre yard when required.
  • Assist with the Brick Cutter role when required.
  • Undertake other duties as directed.

Success Requirements:


  • Proven experience in gardening and landscaping, with a strong understanding of horticulture practices.
  • Knowledge of office maintenance, including the ability to handle basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong ability to work unsupervised and meet targets.
  • A Forklift Licence is preferred.
