The Role:
Sales Associate, Investment Banking and Private Equity

We are looking Sales Associate based in the Sydney office. This role is responsible for promoting and consultatively selling a portfolio of products to current and new business customers.

The role will involve targeting and pursuing opportunities across a wide range of segments including Private Equity, Investment Banking and Global Advisory firms.

You will be able to lead from the front and have a direct impact on the future growth of the business.

In doing so, you will get to learn the client's business and help identify their needs, while providing solutions utilising our products and tools.

Responsibilities:

Maintain total sales at or above quota
Identify new opportunities within the designated territory
Establish appointments with senior-level executives within these organisations
Stay current with industry news and issues to understand the potential impact to your current prospects for fine new opportunities
Coordinate and provide sales demonstrations
Follow up to negotiate contract terms and pricing
Secure the executed contract and coordinating the transition of new clients to the Account Management group
Develop industry-specific knowledge necessary to have credible diagnostic conversations


What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, accounting, economics, or related field
Fluency in English
Ambition, passion, drive and a hunger for sales
Confidence in cold calling and dealing with clients over the phone and in person, client-first approach to sales
Understanding of sales processes and dynamics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide presentations to large audiences
Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
Existing knowledge and usage of the S&P Capital IQ platform will be highly regarded


S&P Global Grade ( relevant for internal applicants only ): 9-10
