About the Role:


This newly created position is responsible for the creation, implementation and overseeing of communications programmes to deliver Detmold Group strategic objectives for all sales businesses within the Detmold Group.

In this dynamic and fast-paced role you will manage the internal and external communications across all channels in an effective and timely manner.

Furthermore, this role will translate the Detmold Group strategy into an effective and engaging cross-channel content strategy for all Brands and product categories.


Key duties will include:

  • Preparing communications material for distribution internally and externally
  • Drafting media statements, answering media enquiries, planning events and press conferences
  • Leading the coordination of major customer facing media events, interactions with industry bodies and other external events to ensure consistent messaging and execution
  • Preparing the State of Market Report and other key customer facing communications
  • Developing and implementing tone of voice for the Detmold Group and business unit ensuring key messages around the Detmold Vision, Purpose & Values consistent
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet critical deadlines
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to succinctly edit content, write press releases and other external communications across a range of platforms using the appropriate voice of each business unit
  • Capacity to absorb, distil and interpret technical information
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery often against tight deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong commitment to quality and a customer centric service focus


Key to your success will be your ability to form collaborative working relationships with multiple stakeholders and take ownership of end-to-end communications processes.

Prior experience in a hands-on communication, PR, Journalism, marketing or similar filed is essential as well as demonstrated experience in increasing brand value through effective communications, planning and implementation.

Furthermore, experience with website Content Management system software In-design or photoshop is considered advantageous.
