Your new role:
Import & Export Officer

Our Amazing client are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional for the position of Import & Export Officer to join our thriving operations department.

Manage import and export shipments from initiation to completion
Ensuring smooth and efficient logistics operations.
Demonstrate expertise in customs procedures, cartage, and coordination of sea and air freight activities.
Liaise with clients, overseas agents, suppliers, and internal teams.
Manage endtoend logistics operations: freight forwarding, customs clearance, transport
Be the first point of contact.
Liaise with customers.
Provide support to the team.
Prepare delivery information for dispatch.
Improve processes.

What you'll need to succeed

23 years of experience in the related industry within Australia.
Proven experience in import & export operations within the freight forwarding industry.
Indepth knowledge of Australian customs, cartage processes, and various modes of freight transportation.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to resolve problems effectively and efficiently.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external business partners and staff at all levels.
Strong planning and organizational skills including ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks.
Team oriented, have an eye for detail, willing to learn and see work through to completion.
Hard working attitude
