FREIGHT FORWARDING BDM - BRISBANE

From bulk commodities to specialized freight, they move it all via air, land, and sea, enabling their customers to optimize supply chain efficiency.

Your New Role
Reporting to the National Sales Director, you will be able to utilize all contacts and facilities to ensure your clients are well catered for and all their service expectations are exceeded

This company boasts an impressive list of existing clients - ranging from tier 1's through to tier 3's - they have the network and market presence to offer long term end to end solutions - this company also has an exceptional customer service and operations team - this transfers into a very high level of client retention and profit

You will be responsible for growing the NSW Market for this client with an uncapped territory. This is a

NEW BUSINESS HUNTER role

Identify, target, and secure new business.
Develop, report, and pursue a continuing active pipeline
Prepare and present proposals and tenders to senior decisionmakers
Negotiate rate and service agreements with prospects and service providers
Design and implement standard operating procedures for new business

What you will need to succeed:

You will be an experienced Freight Forwarding Business Development Manager
Minimum of 5 years experience in Freight Forwarding Sales
Local Market experience is essential
Comfortable taking charge of a situation and making decisions independently.
Expresses opinions and ideas in a selfassured manner.
Interacts in a selfassured yet humble manner.
Comfortable discussing their own achievements and successes.
Proactive in setting one's own direction or goals to work towards
