Opportunity:
Our client is a global real estate leader, seeking an experienced Property Manager to join their dynamic team in Melbourne.
This leading Investment and asset management firm possesses a diversified portfolio with assets under management totalling more than AUD $5B.
Delivering attractive returns to investors and experiencing unprecedented growth, they are now offering a unique opportunity to work alongside their experienced asset management team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent tenant services in a timely and courteous manner.
- Financial management of assets including, rent collection, arrears management, rent reviews etc.
- Conduct property inspections and meet with tenants on a regular basis to ensure compliance with the lease.
- Assist the Asset Managers with establishing the asset plans/strategies, then align the daily operations of the properties to the approved strategy.
- Lease coordination for all tenants/assets under management, including maintaining a schedule of critical dates/matters pertaining to each lease.
- Management of statutory files including bank guarantees, leases, legal documents, insurance certificates (vendor, contractor, and tenant), and corporate governance.
- Cooperation with the facilities managers.
- Assist the facilities manager with tenant movements.
Requirements:
- 35 years' experience in an Assistant PM or Property Manager related role.
- Bachelor's degree in business (real estate, economics or similar).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with tenants, team members and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of property management principles (leasing, maintenance, tenant relations and financial management).
- Knowledge of industry regulations (building codes, zoning laws, safety regulations).
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
