HR Business Partner/Manager is responsible for:

  • Based in the Brisbane office providing full spectrum HR support to the following jurisdictions
    :BNE/PER/PNG/FJ:
  • Execute HR plans and policies by aligning HR activities to business needs and providing daytoday HR support to attract, manage, develop, motivate, and retain employees to achieve business objectives in line with business needs, HR plans, industry best practices and current legislation.
  • Support to develop and administer Industrial/ Labor Relations plans and activities to enable Business Managers to deal with Employee Relations issues effectively in line with business needs, Industrial/ Labor plans, practices, and budgets.
  • Undertake a broad range of HR work/ projects spanning across employee lifecycle and manage contingent workforce to enable transparency, compliance with legislation.

_Accountabilities:
_


  • Act as a business partner/ consultant providing guidance and advisory on different HR disciplines/matters to Business Managers and employees at local level; drawing on specialist or team members as required.
  • Support managers throughout the employee life cycle from hiring through to termination.
  • Analyze and recognize issues/conflicts related to Employee Relations and recommend solutions and mechanisms to address.
  • Consult and coach Managers to better handle issues and approach for negotiations.
  • Support change initiatives and acts as change agent in particular the implementation of change management from Employee Relations perspective.
  • Provide information, analyse context, and support collective contract negotiations.
  • Ensure process improvement and modify/ adapt HR processes to better suit the needs of defined organisation.
  • Enhance awareness and compliance with company policies/ and procedures and legal requirements/ regulations.
  • Develop & implement HR policies that comply with statutory regulations and are consistent with internal and external best practices.
  • Manage contingent workforce to enable transparency, compliance with Supply Chain Due Diligence Act and effective workforce management through accurate reporting, reviews, etc.
  • Undertake a broad range of HR work/ projects spanning across employee lifecycle sometimes complex and nonroutine requiring background research e.g., providing legal advice, analysing data trends.
  • Develop and formulate plans to maintain required data, files and reports for Industrial/ Labour Relations/HR Compliance.
  • Keep up to date with latest development in HR industry and labour legislation.
  • Understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns and advise customers and key stakeholders.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with DGF managers.
  • Provide technical guidance to line managers and employees.

_Skills / Qualifications:
_


  • Minimum four (4) years previous work experience in a similar position
  • Related tertiary qualification i.e., bachelor's degree.
  • HR/Labour Law certification (preferred)
  • Knowledge of ER procedures and processes such as employment tribunals, disability, diversity, and equal opportunities
  • Previous experience partnering the business at a senior management level in a complex environment e.g., multi country/customers.
  • Proven experience of leading deployment working with complex organizational change projects
  • Results & solution driven.
  • Able to work independently.
  • High degree of trust, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Be a team player with a positive cando attitude.
  • Be results driven and be able to demonstrate strong communication and administration skills.

Role Summary:


  • Fulltime 8.30am5pm M-F
  • 2 days/Wk WFH option available after probation period
  • 90 Minute unpaid break
  • Located Brisbane Airport
  • Competitive Annual Salary $110K $130K + super
