Recruitment Labs has been exclusively engaged by a national law firm to recruit a new Credit Controller, who will become an integral part of their financial operations.


Role Profile:

As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our organisation


Your responsibilities will include:

Credit Management:
Implementing and maintaining effective credit control procedures to minimise outstanding debts and maximise cash flow.


Client Liaison:

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to facilitate prompt payment and resolve any billing queries or disputes efficiently.


Financial Analysis:
Conducting thorough analysis of financial data to assess credit risk and devise strategies for mitigating potential financial losses.


Reporting:
Generating accurate and timely financial reports to provide insights into credit control performance and inform strategic decision-making.


Compliance:
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies related to credit management and debt collection.

  • Proven experience in debtor management within the legal or broader professional services industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices, with the ability to analyse financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a resultsdriven mindset.
  • Ideally familiar with software specific to the legal industry such as Affinity, Aderant, Leap or Elite etc.
