We are looking for a Campus Recruiter to join our HR and Recruiting team in SIG's Sydney office. You will be part of an energetic and close-knit team that directly impacts the success of our firm.

You will work closely with our Trading, Technology and Quant teams to attract, select and onboard the best Intern, Graduate and PhD talent in the market.

In this role you will:

  • Be involved in all aspects of the campus recruitment lifecycle from strategizing with stakeholders to attending careers fairs and other campus events
  • Be responsible for screening, interviewing, presenting offers and preparing new hires for their onboarding experience at SIG
  • Be accountable for SIG's annual campus program, all sponsorship/coop programs and the intern program, which is split between Sydney and Philadelphia, the firm's global headquarters
  • Manage all yearround initiatives to engage with and hire relevant talent example: identify opportunities to engage with PhD talent on campus for our Quantitative teams
  • Contribute to SIG's campus employment branding and awareness initiatives
  • Find ways to continuously enhance our campus talent pipeline by facilitating networking / social events either on campus or on SIG premises
  • Work effectively with the U.S. based campus recruitment and education teams to leverage SIG best practice and expertise
  • Be open to travel to U.S. to learn SIG's recruitment best practices.
  • Use data effectively to inform strategies and drive improvements

What we're looking for

  • Relevant experience in campus recruitment
  • Thorough understanding of the Australian campus recruitment domain
  • Demonstrated experience in building positive relationships with key university bodies including professors, faculties, student societies and careers services
  • Ability to travel interstate during peak campus recruiting cycles
  • Experience of hiring students from STEM disciplines, preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in Australia
  • Your personal skills are key, so this is what we need:
