The business we have partnered with is a specialist in personal insurance for both businesses and individuals.

Located in North Sydney (close to the station), they are well-established, have an excellent reputation and are in a growth phase.

Therefore, to continue to provide exemplary service to their clients, they now need to add to their team A Junior Adviser who has a passion for Personal Insurance would find this a great learning environment where you get a real sense of satisfaction from tailoring solutions that have tangible benefits for clients.


The Opportunity

If you have completed your PY and have possibly 1-2 years of face-to-face client experience, and you would like to specialise in one particular area of advice, then this might be for you.

This firm would love to employ a people person with energy, passion, and drive who is experienced enough to sit in front of clients - with training provided of course Our client will train someone wherever it is needed but you must be genuinely interested in insurance and genuinely interested in bespoke solutions.

This business will go to the ends of the earth for their clients and so attention to detail is also important as is a dedication to exemplary client service.


The Role

  • Understanding clients' unique needs and objectives, and establish strong 'trust' relationship
  • Conduct meetings with all clients and develop tailored financial plans that align with their risk needs and goals
  • Monitor and review client plans and adjust as necessary according to the client's changing circumstances
  • Conduct research, liaise with 3rd parties and stay abreast of industry trends
  • Understand the offerings of all available insurers
  • Assist providing guidance and technical direction to paraplanners and implementation staff.

About You

  • Minimum 12 years' experience as a Financial Adviser.
  • Willingness to learn and become an industry professional and specialist
  • Be passionate about servicing clients and interested in an opportunity for long term career development
  • Appropriate qualifications with completion of your PY
  • Strong compliance, technical knowledge around legislative and regulatory requirements to provide quality risk advice in the client's best interest
  • An ability to handle a growing client book and be comfortable with multitasking.
  • Strong sense of professionalism and a clientcentric approach
  • Have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
