IE are currently looking for a Finance Assistant to come on board and champion the efficiency of our teams utilisation, capabilities and well being.


About the opportunity


A highly collaborative role in which you will coordinate workflow, manage resource allocation, provide finance support and act as the key connector between our people, our capabilities and our programs of work.


Working closely with key stakeholders across the business, you will connect the dots between our cross-functional teams to ensure our current utilisation is thriving whilst planning for any future resourcing needs.

You will provide support across key financial deliverables including invoicing, forecasting and reporting.

You will take ownership of the processes and management of our internal resourcing platforms monitoring and advising on team bandwidth by producing and analysing key utilisation and forecasting metrics.


  • Facilitate weekly utilisation meetings to solve resourcing gaps
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to support resource planning, project adjustments, capacity planning and utilisation
  • Support our Senior Accountant in day to day finance needs
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to create client invoices and ensure payments are received on time
  • Input and monitor resource projects and timesheet data
  • Develop a deep understanding of our work our capabilities, methodologies, clients to ensure projects are matched to the right people
  • Identify and report on key performance metrics, drawing crucial insights and leveraging them to optimise team utilisation and long term resourcing requirements
  • Work with the Talent Team on upcoming gaps and the need to hire
  • Produce weekly/monthly/quarterly management metrics
  • Provide commercial and financial support of new opportunities
  • Drive system and process improvement initiatives to strengthen the resource management process within IE and identify regular opportunities to adapt as the business grows
  • Feel comfortable in spreadsheets. A mastery of the basics, either comfortable in calculations, tables and automation (or an openness to learn), to drive efficient processes, data manipulation and supporting the business through data.
