    ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Part time, Saturday & Sunday.
  • Afternoon shift, pm.
  • Ability to pick up additonal shifts.
  • Located at Werribee Mercy Hospital,in our Environmental Department.
  • Reporting to Food & Environmental Manager.
  • Responsible for ensuring your shift meets & exceeds the Victorian Cleaning Standards of Public Hospitals.
  • Ensuring the Food Safety standards are met.
  • Assisting with resource management of Food & Environmental staff.
  • Ensuring that Food & Environmental Services staff perform the functions of their role to a satisfactory standard.
  • Resource Management of equipment.
  • Training and orientation of new staff to our Department.

    • ABOUT YOU:

  • Supervisory/Management qualification,( or working towards).
  • Certificate lll in Health Services, or equivalent, or experience within a Hospital, Hotel or Cleaning sector.
  • Proven ability to supervise and train staff to achieve appropriate standards.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage in a complex environment involving multiple stake holders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills on all levels.
