Responsibilities:


Health, Safety and Risk

  • Coordination of medicals, drug and alcohol screens and psychometric assessments
  • Ensure individual compliance with all relevant legislation, codes of practice, Macmahon and Client instructions, policies, procedures and practices

Technical/Operational

  • 6 Month Contract
  • Sourcing to fill site vacancies
  • Interviewing prospective employees
  • Ensure all records are held on file in accordance with auditing requirements
  • Collates input and contributes expertise to develop and implement an overarching recruitment framework that covers appropriate and fair selection criteria, diversity and inclusion requirements, an assessment methodology and an approach for dealing with unsuccessful applicants
  • Participates in attraction and recruitment campaigns for graduates, undergraduates, vacation students aligning to intake requirements and the strategic resourcing plan, and coordinates their placements
  • Ensure all relevant documents are submitted efficiently and accurately on time for processing
  • Coordination of inductions as required i.e. Macstart, Safety day, CBS systems
  • Conducting reference checks
  • Provides specialist support to HR Advisors in internal
redeployment execution triggered by organisation change

  • Coordination and submission of site clearance forms
  • Coordinate flight and accommodation arrangements for
employees mobilising to site

  • Create employee files with Offer of Employment Checklist in accordance with MBS company procedure
  • Regular site communication to develop rapport with site
personnel and gain knowledge of site conditions in order to provide essential information to prospective employees

  • Processing invoices related to recruitment, training and
logistics i.e. creating order numbers and recording on
database

  • Contributing to general improvement of HR procedures and functions
  • Follow up on general queries from prospective employees

Commercial/Financial

People Management

  • Advise prospective employees on remuneration rates, and conditions of service including on costs and ensure that agreed rates at employee commencement are communicated in writing to Payroll for processing

Team Contribution

  • Engages with external service providers for delivery of services such as advertising, recruitment search and preemployment testing as required
