ABOUT THE ROLE:
Fixed term part time Administration Officer position at Mercy Place Northcliffe in Edithvale
Summary of the role:
Opportunity to be part of one of Mercy Health's Aged Care homes, and help support residents, families and staff.
- Fixed term part time position available
- Facilitate communication with residents and/or their families and staff in relation to office administration requirements
- Responsible and accountable for the daytoday activities of the office ensuring administrative, clerical and reception services are provided to the residents, visitors and staff.
- Provide timely and effective support to managers.
- Efficient and effective maintenance of document and data storage.
ABOUT YOU:
- High level of interpersonal, communication skills (written and verbal) and computer literacy
- High attention to detail and previous knowledge of roster planning
- Experience in Aged Care or Health environment (desirable but not essential)
- Highly developed administrative skills
- Ability to work as part of a team building relationships with people across Mercy Health organisation
- Highly competent in IT systems with advanced knowledge of MS Office and the ability to learn new systems
- Efficient and effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
