- Project management of the Icon IIT Portfolio, which may include study development, study and site feasibility and coordination of all applicable start-up activities, study management and monitoring, essential documentation management, recruitment, and publication, and team member education and communication of trial progress.
- Depending on the demands of projects secured by the Icon Group CRS, support the project management of assigned commercially sponsored projects.

- Bachelor's Degree in relevant health sciences or other allied health field
- Proven organisational, analytical, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated time management skills with the capacity or experience to coordinate a complex portfolio of clinical research activity.
- Sound knowledge of relevant local and international regulations and guidelines pertaining to the conduct of clinical research.

- Current driver's license Desirable:
- Minimum 2 years proven Project Management experience in clinical research.
- Demonstrated ability to apply policies and procedures to achieve optimal outcomes for our clients and the role being undertaken.
- Demonstrated verbal communication skills to develop internal and external stakeholder relationships, deal with issues sensitively and assertively and capability to both provide and receive positive and negative feedback.

About the Role:
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented individual with experience in clinical trial project management to join the growing Clinical Research Service (CRS) at Icon Group. The dual functioning CRS provides support to Icon's investigator-initiated trial (IIT) portfolio and tailored clinical research development and management services to commercial clients.
The primary role of the IIT Project Manager within the CRS is delivering the growing portfolio of IITs in accordance with agreed resources, budget and timelines, whilst complying with all necessary sponsor procedural documents, international guidelines such as ICH GCP, as well as all applicable country-specific clinical trial regulations. The IIT portfolio may include Phase 1 - 4 studies as well as clinical registries and retrospective studies.
Depending on workload demands within the CRS business unit, the role may also be accountable for the project management of allocated commercially sponsored projects served by the CRS. Working in this capacity will require the project manager to act as a key point of contact between the commercial client, Icon Group CRS and any other applicable external third-party vendors.
The IIT Project Manager, will work with diverse internal and external stakeholders, advocating for clinical trial participation across Icon Group, and will play a pivotal role in recognising new IIT opportunities to drive growth of the IIT portfolio, aligned to Icon's strategic research directions.

Clinical trials at Icon
To help deliver a robust trials portfolio, Icon Group work with over 200 collaborators including Contract Research Organisations (CROs), commercial and non-commercial organisations (including the pharmaceutical industry hospital and universities), industry vendors and service providers. We deliver Phase I to Phase IV clinical trials sponsored by the pharmaceutical industry and collaborative groups, as well as in-house investigator-initiated trials across our multidisciplinary clinical team, clinical registries, compounding, physics and dosimetric research.
