Are you looking for a position where you can actively influence day to day decisions and help shape the strategy of the business?

A 12-month contract, collaborating closely with key stakeholders, providing financial insights and guidance to drive informed decision-making in relation to cost and investment.

Reporting to Head of Operations - Finance, you will provide financial management for significant Tip Top operational capital projects, ranging from ~$130M through to ~30M.

Responsibilities include but not limited to;

  • Developing, documenting, and implementing financial and project controls
  • Establishing and maintaining a project governance framework
  • Providing financial review of contracts through construction phase through to close out
  • Managing FX hedge forecasting, tracking and accounting for all foreign currency capital purchases
  • Initiating contracts close out processes, including finalisation of claims and management of contracts to end of defects liability period
  • Establishing and maintaining fitforpurpose capital spend reporting (including commitment reporting), FX hedging and cashflow tracking process
About You

This role will require a good understanding of the capital process and will require the development of strong relationships with members of the National Engineering Team.


  • Degree qualified CPA, CIMA or CA fully qualified
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in similar project finance roles.
  • Minimum 5 years' Post Qualification finance experience
  • Able to use strategic financial planning and partnering to challenge, advice, and coach senior stakeholders in business planning through a range of communication channels
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint to be able to draw insight and analysis from financial and nonfinancial data
  • This role is a blended role for office and home working, with up to four days per week at site. Travel is required for this role dependent on where you are located.
