  • One (1) fulltime, continuing position, and one (1) fixedterm contract until 31 December 2023 based in UniSA Clinical Health and Sciences at the City East campus
  • Salary: $67,739 $76,139 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About the Role


We are seeking two Academic Services Officers to join our busy Clinical Health and Sciences Academic Unit, to assist in the provision of programs and teaching activities.

Students also get hands-on experience by completing fieldwork and clinical placement throughout their studies.

UniSA Clinical and Health Sciences has clinical agreements with all local health networks, major hospitals, private health providers, rural health networks, aged care services and mental health services.

This includes partnerships with SA Health, Calvary Hospital, Cancer Council SA and HelpingHand.


Core Responsibilities

  • Undertake a broad range of administrative activities to support the delivery of the Academic Unit's programs and courses. This includes assisting in the maintenance and production of all programs, course and teaching material, nonstandard study plans, Academic Unitspecific scholarships and awards processes, short course administration, exam administration and providing support for assessments and result entry
  • Undertake the role of Executive Officer for Academic Unit committees as required

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience working undertaking administrative functions in a teambased service environment
  • Written and verbal communication skills including preparation of written materials and experience in liaising with various stakeholders to deliver quality customer service
  • Organisational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities under broad direction including a high level of attention to detail
  • Experience in using information systems and the Microsoft Office suite of programs
