  • Fulltime, fixed term contract from 18 March to 4 July 2025 based in UniSA Online
  • Commencement salary: $132,839 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About the Role
The Program Facilitator provides leadership and support in the delivery and ongoing development of the UniSA Online program.

The role assures that UniSA Online programs provide a high quality and outstanding online learning experience for students through effective monitoring, communication and feedback loops to stakeholders and by ensuring students are supported and inspired.

This position is required to cover leave for an existing staff member.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, support and advice to Online Course Facilitators in the operational delivery and ongoing development of UniSA Online programs to achieve a high quality, outstanding online learning experience for students
  • Coordinate reviews and quality assurance activities across UniSA Online courses and programs and provide support to the Academic Units with A35A Quality Assurance and Internal Program Accreditation.

UniSA Online in assuring quality online approaches across UniSA Online courses and programs

  • Act as a key liaison between the UniSA Online Unit and the Academic Units.
  • Provide support and feedback to the

Associate Dean:
Online Education and Academic Units to ensure the ongoing design and development of program content is of the highest quality and that discipline knowledge and industry expertise remains current and relevant

  • Support student performance and experience by providing academic counselling and mentorship to students, case managing issues where appropriate and supporting the Associate Deans in the review and appeals process
  • People management activities such as recruitment, performance management, PDM discussions and mentoring in conjunction with the

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Advanced qualification and/or recognised significant experience to a minimum Level C academic staff classification
  • Demonstrated ability to provide academic leadership across a diverse, multidisciplinary group in an inspiring, collaborative, and innovative manner and fostering the development of a collegial and supportive working environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in contemporary teaching and learning methodologies, ideally in an online learning environment
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication skills and relationship building skills, including the ability to successfully influence and provide constructive feedback ensuring that relationships are maintained
  • Demonstrated ability in the coaching and mentoring of students
