About the role

Opportunity to join a global leader in the material handling and engineering sector as Yard Hand on an on-going contract.

You will report directly to the Workshop Supervisor and will help facilitate the general maintenance of the yard as well as utilising a forklift to manoeuvre various units in and around the yard.

Requirements:

Drivers License
Forklift License
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Strong work ethic
Ability to work autonomously and in a team

Responsibilities

Ensure the appearance and functionality of the yard is organised and up to Linde standards
Regularly operate the forklift to transport units around the yard
Locate and retrieve required units to be transported
Maintain a clean and tidy yard area to companies' standards
Assist Workshop manager where required
