Principal Finance Officer - Brisbane, Australia - Queensland Health
Description
The roleTo lead, develop, and refine labour related costing models and estimates which will guide the equitable and transparent allocation of funds to health services in accordance with Queensland Health's directions, vision and intents.
Provide costing advice and information to a wide range of Queensland Health stakeholders including senior executives, executive committees and Hospital and Health Services in relation to Human Resources initiatives, including enterprise bargaining processes and associated activities and funding submissions.
Proactively contribute to the achievement of Finance Branch outcomes by participating in the identification of emerging issues, the provision of strategic input on relevant issues, the preparation and implementation of branch plans and promoting the achievement of an aligned and co-ordinated approach to activities across the branch.
The successful personYou will have demonstrated:
- experience in leading modelling & costing activities using advanced Microsoft Excel.
- expert issue identification, analytical and research skills, problem solving skills and a demonstrated ability to develop innovative, sensitive and practical solutions and provide strategic advice on complex issues.
