Description

We are looking for an Exploration Geologist for a short term contract. Gold is the commodity and our clients have established sites for exploration sites. Roster is 12:9 and FIFO to Kalgoorlie.

In these roles you would be mainly responsible for but not limited too:

Drilling program supervision
RC and Diamond core logging and mark up.
Reporting to the project/senior geologist
Ensure compliance by contractors and visitors with company safety procedures and protocols.
Ensure appropriate regulatory compliance in tenure management and field operations.
Comply with company policies on: Security and confidentiality of company information, Ethical standards, Trading in company securities, and Workplace conduct.
BSc (Geology)
Minimum 2 6 years' experience (Gold experience preferable)
Previous Project Geologist experience highly regarded.
Experienced with drill supervision (RC and Diamond).

- expected to be on 12 days on 9 days off roster and WA based.

Must be fit and healthy
Eligible to work in Australia.
Hold a manual 'C' class driver's licence.
Working knowledge of GIS systems, MapInfo, Micromine and MS Office (desirable but not essential)
Familiarity with departmental reporting and data management
Be physically fit and be able to pass medical.
