$32 ph + Super + OT

Sydney Water supplies water, wastewater, recycled water and stormwater services to more than five million people in the Greater Sydney area.

They currently have excellent opportunities available for reliable people seeking long-term employment. There is no experience required for these positions as a structured training and development program will be provided.

Maintenance Support Officers perform general labouring tasks to support the Maintenance Area Teams responsible for ensuring Sydney Water customers receive consistently high quality and reliable water, wastewater, stormwater and recycled water services.

Responsibilities of the role:

Assist experienced crews onsite
Cleanup and restore worksites
Wastewater cleanups after sewer overflows
Locate assets indicated on maps
Use of power tools and machinery when needed
Handle and transport materials and equipment
Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labour tasks in a safe manner

Key requirements for the role:

White Card
MR driver's licence
required:
Physically fit for general labouring duties
Good communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safety policies and procedures
Must have a Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain) and undergo a Police Check
