About us


Funds in Court (FIC) is a self-funded division of the Supreme Court of Victoria, managing funds paid into Court, primarily for people under a legal disability.

All funds are held, invested and administered by the Associate Judge of the Court who is the Senior Master. FIC provides support and services for over 7,000 persons under 'legal disability' (beneficiaries).


The Administrative Coordinator - Asset Services is a member of the Asset Services, Audit & Compliance Team which operates within the Beneficiary Services Team.

The role is responsible for the administration, coordination and oversight of property and motor vehicle assets on behalf of persons under a legal disability (beneficiaries) who have had funds paid into Court.

It manages a diverse portfolio of projects including property purchases, sales and modifications as well as pool and motor vehicle related compliance.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Effectively administer and coordinate all processes, correspondence and activities associated with building and propertyrelated matters, including purchases, sales, new builds and modifications.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with key external stakeholders, including but not limited to, real estate agents, valuers, building inspectors, conveyancers, builders, construction managers and architects.
  • Effectively monitor and maintain the pool and spa compliance program for all trust properties.
  • Effectively monitor, maintain and ensure continued compliance of the motor vehicle fleet membership program, emergency home assist program and Personal Property Securities Register

About you

  • Experience in the administration of residential domestic building works contracts would be highly advantageous
  • Welldeveloped communication and negotiation skills and the ability to develop sound working relationships with a range of stakeholders is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing high level, professional, customerfocused operational support.
