About this Opportunity


Reporting to the Site Manager, this role will be responsible for delivering financial reporting and analysis for the Bendigo site, in conjunction with the senior functional stakeholders on site.

The role will drive the financial reporting cycle on behalf of the site manager, and will work strategically on long term planning initiatives (budget preparation, CAPEX submission, savings initiatives).


Key accountabilities include:

  • Timely and accurate financial and management reporting to various stakeholders.
  • Assist Site Manager with analysis and explanation of monthly results for their areas of responsibility.
  • Provide management with relevant accounting and financial support necessary to assist in making informed decisions
  • Identify and implement reporting and process improvements
  • Assist management with the preparation of capital expenditure proposals and business case evaluations.
  • Drive and lead budgets and forecast exercises and commentary for global budget preparations
  • Manage Bills of Material (BOM)

About You
To succeed in this role the following knowledge and skills are required:

  • Degree qualification in Economics or Business.
  • Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred
  • 3 years commercial experience preferably with exposure to a manufacturing environment utilising Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP) systems
  • Experience with budgeting and working with stakeholders to monitor and update forecasts
  • Understanding of product costing
  • Demonstrated intermediate Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of FMCG or Dairy related operations would be desirable.
