About this Opportunity
We are seeking a
National Facilities & Services Coordinator to join our facilities team.
Reporting to the National Facilities & Service Manager, this is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and high performing team who are engaged and committed to ensuring the efficient and effective distribution of our products through our distribution network.
Lactalis has a national delivery network of over 60 independent franchisees and distributors servicing over 14,000 customers.This position is responsible for the Logistics Depot Facilities Services coordination including contractor preventative maintenance program (PMP), repairs and maintenance (R&M), invoice and purchase order control, equipment and MHE control, utilities administration control, legislative compliance control and assisting the National Facilities & Services Manager with lease management, projects, emergency control and reporting.
Key accountabilities of the role are:
- Maintain Internal & External relationships with landloard, distribution partners & service providers
- Be an escalation point for service management issues including performance, quality, safety & risk.
- Manage the daily tasks of PMP, R&M, safety compliance to ensure they are completed in a timely manner
- Support the National Facilities Manager with property lease management tasks
- Manage the contractor portal inlcuding Maximo and Linksafe
- Perform routine admin task, create POs, issue budgets, deliver projects etc.
- Reduce fixed cost exposure through innovative CI (Continuous Improvement) projects.
- Be a leader with Change Management projects that impact Facilities and other Logistics departments.
Ideally you will have:
- 2+ years' experience facilities management or similar
- Proven experience in distributor / franchisee operations or similar
- Highly developed commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Understanding of basic warehouse, transport operations and sales in FMCG
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving ability
- Demonstrable use of continuous improvement methodology to reengineer operating processes
- Strong initiative and Self Starter
