The Role


As a Safety Administrator, you will provide administrative and technical support to the ABN Safety team and broader ABN Group.

You will focus on providing positive and proactive engagement with driving ABN Group safety culture and any other safety related duties.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Create, review and update safety documentation in conjunction with ABN Safety Management
  • Manage subcontractor and supplier safety documentation including onboarding and periodic reviews
  • Collate, summarise and distribute safety reports/results to a range of stakeholders at ABN Group
  • Conduct internal safety audits and assist with external audit reports and reviews
  • Oversee AARs and liaise with stakeholders to ensure learning are executed
  • Support ABN Safety team with coordination of risk assessments and coordination of purchasing safety relate items
  • Assist with development and distribution of safety notices and alerts
  • Other safety administration duties as required

You
To be successful in this role, the following qualities and experiences will be considered favourably:

  • Safety qualification (Cert IV or above) or minimum 2 years' experience in safety-based role
  • Exposure to Safety or Quality Management systems administration
  • Genuine passion for safety and commitment to Work Safe Home Safe ethos
  • Strong administrative experience and welldeveloped skills using Microsoft Office
  • A systematic approach to work, with an ability to prioritise and effectively manage deadlines
  • Ability to establish and building strong relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Knowledge of relevant HSE legislation within the building and construction industry is desirable
