THE ROLE

Are you a highly motivated individual with a strong customer focus, adept at succeeding in complex, high-volume environments, and thrive on leading a team? We are currently seeking a skilled industry professional to join our Business Support team, as a technical specialist to be responsible for leading the team tasked with (student and academic) timetabling and scheduling.

You will be responsible for the development of strategies, policies, procedures, and production of the University's teaching timetable. If you're ready to contribute to a challenging yet rewarding role, we invite you to apply.

Develop positive networks and relationships with key stakeholders to continually improve timetable processes and systems within our Business Support team;
Share your expertise by training end users in system usage and functionality;
Lead a highly capable and engaged small team


ABOUT YOU
Your CV should evidence transferrable industry experience and capabilities within the following priority areas.

Demonstrated business and requirements analysis skills;
Knowledge management experience within complex business systems, including the ability to use tools to extract and interrogate the accuracy of data;
Project management capability (relevant to the role), including delivering results through effective planning and execution of system and process improvements, achieved through effective consultation with key stakeholders;
Change management capability including stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, problem solving, and training end users to achieve sustainable change;
Proven ability to investigate, identify and analyse key issues and associated alternatives, benefits, and costs to develop practical solutions (consider creative and innovative cost-effective solutions);
Demonstrated ability to manage varied and conflicting demands and projects to agreed standards and timelines;
Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the use of timetabling software and Student Management Systems is desirable.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, fixed term position attracts remuneration of $111,152 - $125,191 per annum plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
