Research Services provides strategic and operational support to the University's research programs, and has a crucial role in developing the University's research capability and facilitating the University's research outcomes, through its Schools and Institutes.

Enhancing the research culture, collaboration and communication at ECU;
Coordinating ECU strategic scholarships allocation and management, and identifying new opportunities; and

Key Criteria


The successful applicant will have:


Tertiary qualification with relevant experience or an equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation.

Demonstrated experience in providing high-level administrative services and support services in a large organisation. Highly proficient with Microsoft suite of products (intermediate or above Excel skills are desirable).


Good communication skills and the ability to provide good customer service to achieve quality outcomes for internal and external customers.

Good analytical skills and the ability to make recommendations based on your findings.


Ability to work in a constantly changing environment and to investigate and take on board out-of-the-norm suggestions and putting these into practice.


Previous experience in the Higher Education sector, particularly with respect to postgraduate research students, whilst not essential, will be well regarded.


You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University's values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry Personal Excellence and Courage.

Benefits & Remuneration

This full-time, ongoing position attracts a remuneration of $88,973 - $95,993 p.a. including 17% University superannuation contribution.
