About the Role

  • Product marketing plays a big role in how we successfully scale the product and grow the business. This role defines product marketing's role at Cashrewards and will nurture a team to bring the PMM vision to life. We operate in a fastpaced, agile environment so you need to be willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done but be equally comfortable setting the strategic direction for the team and working on strategic initiatives.
A key component of the role is being the conduit between product, marketing and our customers. You will ensure we are developing solutions that balance competing objectives and develop communications that resonate.


The role encompasses overseeing product marketing for our various types of customers: Shoppers, Merchants and Partner propositions, lead the education and establish best practice product marketing management within Cashrewards.

Product marketing brings the voice of marketing and the market into product squads.

A champion for our customers (shoppers, merchants, channel partners) and constantly on the lookout for data and research that strengthens the marketing and product team's understanding of who they are.

Always advocate for frictionless journeys and clear communications, aligned to the product team's ambition to differentiate based on our experience.


Finally, the Product Marketing Lead has a constant finger of the pulse of our competitors and the market in which Cashrewards operates to find opportunities and potential or emerging threats.


Your Focus:

Strategy:


  • Lead the product marketing strategy, positioning, and messaging for our various customer groups.
Working with product and marketing leaders to drive high impact GTM strategies and execute on them.

  • Participate in product roadmap planning to align with key PMM priorities (using customer, marketing, data and research inputs)

- **Product**:
  • Lead a PMM team who will work across 7+ product squads, particularly the customer
  • facing ones. You will define a new way of working in collaboration with the Head of Product, Head of UX, and Marketing Leadership team and adjust as necessary.

- **Execution & Delivery**:
  • Craft clear and compelling messages and build externally
  • facing assets and internal deliverables such as educational videos, competitor battlecard responses for Sales, etc.
  • Own an always on program of work to educate and deepen the engagement of our shoppers with our product features web, app, notifier, instore/card linkage, RAFDrive alignment around key customer journeys (onboarding, activation, etc) to improve conversion and product utilisation.
  • Generate social proof (testimonials, case studies, reviews, videos) to support customer trust and understanding of Cashrewards product/s.
  • Drive a culture of continuous testing and optimisation in collaboration with PMs and Marketing Leads and develop a repository of learnings that all PMMs contribute to regularly.
  • PMM budget management and develop business cases to justify investment of other marketing team budgets for GTM and product utilisation campaigns.
- **Research, data and insights**:
  • Deepen our understanding of our customers through the development of personas, conducting ad
  • hoc research and working with the internal data team.
  • Work with customers, product leaders and designers to sustain and extend a deep understanding of customer problems and painpoints that our existing products solve and where gaps exist. Translate these insights into powerful presentations, GTM campaigns, and future product initiatives.
  • Lead competitor and market intelligence for Cashrewards and translate key trends into action plans.

- **Team leadership**:
  • Hire, coach, mentor and develop product marketing team members.
  • Lead in product marketing nurture new talent, educate the business on the value of the function and and lead through example.
