We are assisting our esteemed client to source an experienced Data Analyst to join a large transformational program of work for an initial 12-month contract.

The requirement is for the Data Analyst to work closely with the Data Lead and delivery team to develop and embed appropriate data frameworks, strategy, plans and activities to support the introduction of a new Energy Management System.

This role is critical to ensure that the solution delivered has data accuracy to support end to end business usage of the solution to the standards of key stakeholders.

This role will work within the nominated project to ensure data availability and integrity to support the new solution functioning effectively and efficiently.

The Data Analyst will be required to:
Source Data Ingestion Strategy Development
Develop and implement strategies for the ingestion of source data ensuring data accuracy and reliability.

Data Validation and Quality Assurance

Perform data analysis and validation tasks to ensure the quality and integrity of data ingested from various sources, including automated and manual processes.

Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting

Act as a key contact between the data team and SMEs ensuring that data management practices align with SME recommendations and project requirement.

Data Scope Management

Collaborate with SMEs to integrate a wide range of data points, including SCADA points ensuring data sources are accurately ingested and utilised within the EMS.

Technical Documentation
Develop comprehensive technical documentation for Source and Target data catalog, Design Intent, Governance rule and Metadata.

Data Governance
Oversee data governance framework and ensure that data management practices adhere to the standards and internal policies.
