We currently have an exciting role for you to join our Biodiversity and Urban Greening Team at the City of PAE.

If you enjoy work in the outdoors and would like to play your part in leaving a Green legacy in our cities streetscapes this could be your calling?


Key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Contribute to the maintenance programme for the streetscapes (round-abouts, traffic control devices and other roadside garden beds)
  • Perform basic to advanced street tree maintenance services planting, mulch spreading, weeding, and watering
  • Responsible for accurate data collection including JSA's, Fleet inspections, daily records.
  • Assist with maintenance of the coastal dune system and wetland areas
  • Maintain Disability Access paths to beaches
  • Provide direction to staff and volunteers

The successful applicant will have:


  • AQF Cert 3 qualification in Horticulture essential
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in Horticulture
  • Demonstrated experience in working within a team environment
