About the role:
Salvos Stores are seeking exceptional communicators to fill Full-Time, Contact Centre Specialists roles in NSW.

Your role as Contact Centre Specialist will include, but not be limited to;

  • As an excellent communicator you'll attend to inbound and outbound calls and relevant administrative activities, when operationally required to support the call centre;
  • With an eye for detail you'll manage and maintain accurate donor records across their respective databases for home collection services, Salvos Club Cards and financial donations;
  • You'll assist with the prioritisation of tasks with other team members to meet daily KPIs;
  • A solutionsfocused individual, you'll act as a first escalation point for more junior members of the team with more complex queries or customer feedback;
  • You'll have your finger on the pulse, keeping up to date with Salvos Stores and the Salvation Army's information, services and programs

You're a creative, organised individual who thrives on delivering great customer experiences and is passionate about making a difference not only to the people you support but in the wider community.

As the successful applicant you will have;

  • Experience working in a busy frontline customer servicebased role, ideally in a contact centre environment;
  • Experience managing complex customer complaints and/or enquiries, especially in written form using various online customer tools;
  • Proficiency in working with outlook, spreadsheets, databases and customer relationship management systems;
  • Available to work weekdays, Saturdays and evening hours on a rotational roster;
  • Flexibility to work onsite and from home
  • Satisfactory work from home requirements assessment check
  • A current and valid police check.
