About the Role:


We have an exciting permanent full time opportunity within our Public Relations team for a Public Relations Coordinator to join our Hobart, TAS office.

Reporting to the


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with donors, corporates and key partners
  • Assist with the coordination and implementation of fundraising campaigns
  • Organise community and fundraising events in line with Public Relations objectives
  • Support the Public Relations Secretary to coordinate the annual Christmas Warehouse
  • Provide content and day to day management of social media channels
  • Undertake office management duties and ensure efficient operation of the TAS Public Relations Office, including managing calendar and travel commitments, banking, filing systems and providing administrative support

About you:

  • Tertiary qualification in communications/marketing/business/fundraising or equivalent skills gained from relevant experience
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to manage long term projects
  • High level communication skills, both in written correspondence and verbally, including in forums of public speaking
  • High level of competency in using Microsoft Office Suite and design platforms like Canva
  • Experience in event planning and fundraising (desirable)
