A renowned boutique, design focused interiors practice is seeking a full-time Mid Level Interior Designer with specialisation across high-end private residential projects.

Key responsibilities

Assist Senior Designers and Project Leads to implement the design vision with clarity and precision within the defined budgets and timeframes
Work closely with external consultants and contractors on site
Assist with the design projects from concept to completion
Production of working drawings, plans, schedules and specifications to assist with the delivery of tender packages, marketing drawings and documentation.
Source materials and products to specify and produce sample/mood boards
Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practises

Skills and experience

Minimum 5+ years full time professional experience as an Interior Designer and relevant degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture
Experience in design & decoration for highend residential projects.
Proficiency in Vectorworks ideal but not essential.
Proficiency with Sketchup and Adobe Suite.
Exceptional design ability and detailing skills.
Experience liaising with consultants, contractors and clients
Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and installations.
Selfmotivated and able to take responsibility
Demonstrate initiative and proactive approach to daily tasks

Originally from the UK, Olivia moved to Sydney in 2014 after graduating with a First-Class Honours Degree in Fashion Communication & Promotion.

She soon took to the world of recruitment, focussing on business support roles across a range of industries and has since worked for internal HR and recruitment teams in London and Sydney.

The design industry has been a long-standing passion of hers, leading to the completion of a Certificate of Interior Design and internships with studios internationally.
