TEN Recruitment are now recruiting a skilled and experienced Finishing Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality commercial projects? Do you thrive in a fast-paced construction environment and have an eye for detail? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our clients dynamic team as a Finishing Manager, managing a team of supervisors across multiple project throughout Perth.


Role Overview:


As the Finishing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion on commercial building projects across Perth.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage all finishing aspects of the construction process, ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality are consistently met.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage a team of skilled finishing tradespeople and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Develop and implement detailed finishing schedules and plans, adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Monitor and track the progress of finishing works, addressing any potential issues promptly.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to achieve the desired level of finishing excellence.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement best practices in the finishing process.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of resources, materials, and manpower to maximize productivity and minimize wastage.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Finishing Manager or a similar role in the commercial construction sector.
  • Indepth knowledge of finishing techniques, materials, and construction methods.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent organisational and problemsolving abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.
  • An eye for detail and a passion for delivering outstanding results.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management or related fields will be highly regarded.
***This role will offer a leading base salary $160k - $190k (DOE) plus super with a vehicle allowance. This is a full time permanent position with a prominent builder based here in WA.
