With the expansion of the multi-entity organisation now including Yugen Tea Bar, and recently opened Yugen, we are on the hunt for the best talent to lead our event operations team to the next level.


THE ROLE
The

Event Supervisor will be responsible for leading small, medium, and large-scale events in multiple spaces throughout the venue. With exceptional knowledge of high-quality service as well as health and safety provisions, the Event Operations Manager will be

a hands-on role where floor service and interaction with clients is paramount. This is a full-time role that requires flexibility and weekend work, with a mixture of both day and night shifts.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Leading the events Food & Beverage operations team
  • Maintain a consistently elevated standard of events
  • Hands on leadership and direction
  • Management, training & development of the events team
  • Roster management
  • Briefing and debriefing the events team, including performance management
  • Work closely with the Events Planner in the lead up to events
  • Develop and maintain strong and trusting relationships with key stakeholders

THE MUST HAVES

  • At least 3 years' experience in managing or supervising highcalibre functions and events
  • Hospitality Floor experience
  • Ability to enthuse and empower all staff on your team
  • Ability to adapt to the changing event environment
  • Exceptional communication and leaderships skills
  • Outstanding pressure management mindset
