As a finance business partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategies, optimising performance, and contributing to the success of our global operations.

Role Purpose:

To provide leadership of the financial planning, analysis and reporting function for Growth and Future Energy division, ensuring the effective integration of projects and the provision of sound financial analysis to support decision making.

Position Overview:

This role contributes to the formulation of the long-term financial strategy in relation to portfolio renewal and is an important intermediary between the business and Finance.

We are seeking a talented and driven Finance Business Partner to support our finance function and act as a strategic advisor to various business units within our organisation.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Commercial, and Strategy, to deliver financial insights, drive performance improvements, and ensure effective decision-making processes.

Your expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and business partnering will enable you to provide valuable recommendations that drive sustainable growth and maximise profitability.

Experience and knowledge:

Over 5 years' experience in senior commercial/finance/project related roles with significant exposure to Energy, Utilities or Mining;
High level of analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build strategic working relationships, and influence senior stakeholders up to ELT, Board and shareholder level;
Experience developing and managing finance reporting pack for projects and provide accurate analysis of business performance against budgets/forecasts using Power Bi;
Experience in collaborating with a range of internal stakeholders; and

Strong risk assessment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
