About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal or law student wanting to build the next phase of their legal career in the Commonwealth context.

AGS's Commercial practice has 65 lawyers around Australia. Our commercial lawyers work with Commonwealth agencies across all areas of commercial practice. We are the lead legal adviser on many of the Australian Government's largest projects and commercial transactions.


In this role you will:
- be responsible for handling routine matters under supervision and undertaking delegated tasks on transactional property matters
- required to deliver on a range of administrative outcomes including billing and reporting tasks, matter opening and closure and database entries and general support to lawyers as required
- have a daily billing target of 5.5 hours
- be part of a supportive, collegiate and high performing national legal practice
- provide a high standard of client service and maintain strong client relationships
- be a contributing member of the wider Commercial team

About you
- an interest in and experience in general property, conveyancing and/or leasing projects
- familiarity with titles office forms and conveyancing processes, ideally over multiple jurisdictions
- experience working with PEXA
- demonstrated high level prioritising, administrative and time management capabilities which includes strong problem-solving skills.
