Responsibilities:
Provide regular updates to customers and partners on support requests and queries, ensuring service request updates and resolution timeframes align with service level agreements.
Planning and conducting technical tasks associated with implementing and maintaining internal enterprise-shared virtualization infrastructure.Configuring and maintaining the systems that comprise the underlying cloud platform.
Maintain records of trouble tickets, daily communication, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities.
Reads technical manuals, confers with users, or conducts computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
Provide onsite technical support for issues raised via Helpdesk, phone, email & and direct.Troubleshoot, analyze, and fix issues related to hardware.
Work with senior members of the support team and product development teams when product issues are identified.
Perform proactive maintenance of in-scope hardware.
Troubleshooting wide area networks, servers and routers, local area networks, and switches.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks on networks and servers.
Work on and send out monthly health reports to clients.
Requirements:
Bachelors in computer science, IT, or related field.2-3 years' experience in Infrastructure support.
Sound experience in network monitoring, support, and administration experience, preferably from any NOC/Data Center.
Sound knowledge of ITIL Service Management and Helpdesk Experience in Networking, Support, and troubleshooting.
Certifications:
MCSE, CCNA/CCNP, Virtualization is preferred.
