    Description

    Full-time, two-year Graduate Program where you'll gain hands-on experience and help deliver of some of Victoria's largest infrastructure projects.

    Full time at a salary of + superannuation (effective from December 2023 – as per VPS EA 2020).

    Victoria's Big Build (Major Transport Infrastructure Authority – MTIA) was established to oversee the major transport projects in planning and construction to deliver 165 major road and rail projects that will change the way that Victorians work, live and travel.

    Projects teams include - Rail Projects Victoria (Metro Tunnel, Melbourne Airport Rail, Regional Rail Revival), North East Link Program, West Gate Tunnel Project, Level Crossing Removal Project, and Major Roads Project Victoria.

    MTIA works closely with the Department of Transport to ensure major construction activities and disruptions are coordinated across the network. This includes plans to keep people moving through major work periods. We also work with the industry to ensure it has the skilled workers needed to deliver Victoria's massive construction program.

    About the role

    You'll build practical capabilities in managing end-to-end recruitment, workplace relations, payroll advisory, workforce planning, HR projects (including getting involved in employment programs including the Graduate, Industry Based Learning (IBL), Vocation and Traineeship Programs) and business partnering. You'll also learn about how state and federal legislation, enterprise agreements and HR policies work to form the basis of HR advice and effective people management practices.

    When you join the program, you'll be employed full time at a salary of $74,580 + superannuation (effective from December 2024– as per VPS EA

    About you

    We are seeking recent graduates, and representatives of Victoria's diverse community to join the 2025 Victoria's Big Build Graduate Programs. Take the opportunity to build both your career and Victoria's infrastructure.

    You will be highly motivated, demonstrate strong interpersonal and problem-solving capabilities and be keen to kick start your career.

    To be eligible, you must have completed your degree between January 2022 and January 2025 and have Australian full working rights at the time of application.
